DataType is what you call the nationality of the data you are working on according to this nationality a computer system will process and analyze the data differently.

An example is when you write a number and a word according to what you write the computer interprets it differently if it is a number you can add and subtract and if it is a word you can split it into alphabets but you cannot add or subtract words similarly you cant spilt numbers. that is what datatype is about there are more than two data types and you will understand more of them later.
